Recent Hotel Posada 06 Review: "We stayed at the Posada 06 for three nights and we highly regretted having to leave. The room was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is very good value for money and the room appearance and cleanliness are much higher than this hotel official star rating. This was possibly the cleanest hotel room we have ever stayed in.  (I always have disinfectant wipes with me and found the hotel bathroom spotless). As with everywhere in Tulum (at least the small establishment) water and sewage are an issue. Even though we never had a problem with the hot water or the shower, the bathroom pipes did smell a couple of times, but it was nothing major and it was enough to close the bathroom door not to be bothered by it. The only improvement we could suggest is the mattress. Ours was quite uncomfortable probably due to the plastic cover underneath our sheets as well as the lack of support provided. In comparison to other hotels in Tulum town or on the beach the hotel Posada 06 is highly recommended. We could walk to the town centre and the main restaurants/shops. The taxi ride to the beach was short and fairly cheap. We are not very fit so we did not try to cycle to the beach but as there is a cycle path this would not be difficult. Overall our stay at the Hotel Posada 06 was very enjoyable and we would definitely go back!"
